An interview article featuring Chairman Yamazaki, “Trajectory and challenges of Dr. Shunpei Yamazaki having a passion for semiconductors” was published as a special report in January 2026 in “Hatsumei (The INVENTION),” a monthly magazine issued by the Japan Institute for Promoting Invention and Innovation. It describes how Yamazaki learned the importance of patents from his mentor, Dr. Yogoro Kato, as well as the history of SEL’s establishment and its research and development, along with a future outlook.
